French Country

Our French Provençal units provide the perfect ambience for kitchens based on the timeless beauty of homes found in the Provençe region of Southern Mediterranean France with large imposing pieces of furniture for bigger spaces. Hand paint techniques in warm earthy colours contribute to the feel and atmosphere of the French countryside which combined with modern recreations of stoves and utensils from a previous period lend a quiet sohisticated country charm to a kitchen.

Priming and Painting
We supply the piece fully primed with white primer for the paint technique artist to finish – we paint and finish the interior white unless requested otherwise. Paint technique finish for the exterior per artist’s separate quotation. We can also supply the unit spray painted and finished in white or the clients colour.

Tops
We recommend solid hardwood tops. These are machined ex 38 mm timber to give a solid top of about 32 mm. However, we can use any exotic hardwood to client’s specification at a separate quote and depending on availability of timber.

Optional Extra, Subject to quotation

• Finished in Danish/Tung oil containing polyurethane
• Granite or Marble tops can be supplied at client’s cost
• A small allowance covering the material cost is made if units are ordered without tops eg granite

Bases and Feet

• Bases are made from solid timber as a protection against water damage.
  These bases are fully adjustable for uneven floors.

Colour
We use a standard lightly distressed white for our units. If you would prefer an alternative distressed colour, please supply the paint colour and be aware of a 5% surcharge. Flat colours per paint technique artists only.
